After restoring the power and ensuring that all electrical systems are working correctly, we will conduct a full safety test to ensure that your electrical system is safe and compliant with today’s safety standards.
Electrical Inspection and Maintenance
Regular electrical inspection and maintenance can help prevent electrical issues and power outages. It is highly recommended that electrical inspections are conducted every ten years for domestic properties and every five years for commercial properties. Electrical Testing for Landlords
Landlords are required to carry out an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) at least once every five years. For an average three-bedroom property, this usually takes approximately three hours. We will require access to the consumer unit and then to all electrical accessories, such as sockets, switches, lights, electric showers, boilers, immersion heaters, ovens, hobs etc.
Once the EICR has been completed, we will provide you with all the relevant information, any recommendations and a test certification.
